My style is predominantly that of a conceptual artist working with the theory of time, memory, beauty and decay. My last piece pushed the boundaries of what is considered as textiles and how it is perceived. I looked at the fabric of nature and stretched it to the limits of abstraction using various mediums, including photography. My work always aims to leave some questions unanswered, creating space for contemplation, allowing the viewer to complete the work.

My current project explores a forgotten country lane that has existed for over 1000 years. It looks neglected and hostile with a difficult terrain and has no destination or views. The piece intends to glorify the lane and its cyclical rhythms by conveying a glimpse of the detail and beauty that are invisible to those who rush past. The works underlying message relates to our own need to be visible and valued, in all our human guises. By selecting objects from the lane for display, I have elevated them to something of significance and worth that can be admired… even in decay.
